This Calcium + Magnesium was formulated with highly-bioavailable forms of these two minerals that work together to optimize your health.

While calcium and magnesium are common nutrients in multivitamin/multi-mineral supplements, many products use inexpensive, poorly-digestible forms (-oxide, -carbonate, or -chloride forms) which may induce unwanted gastrointestinal symptoms.*

Moreover, multivitamin formulations, including our well-formulated options, do not provide enough calcium and magnesium because calcium and magnesium are both bulky minerals that often cannot fit in multi-nutrient formulas in appreciable amounts.

Is the supplement safe for children?

Our formulation provides 200 mg of Mg, which is about 48% of the DV for adult men and 63% for adult women. Our formulation exceeds the DV for infants through children until 8 years old but could be consumed only with a healthcare provider’s recommendation. The formula is suitable for pregnancy and lactation.


Are there any interactions with Mg I should be aware of?

Please consult your healthcare provider regarding any possible interactions or contraindications.


Should probiotics be taken with food?

There is some evidence that if the probiotic is not enterically coated as in our product, it is better to take it just before a meal.


Is there enough calcium to support if I have bone density issues?

Depending on how many servings you take, possibly. If you’re managing a bone density condition, we recommend consulting with your physician regarding proper dosing of mineral and vitamin D supplements.
